Ive been playing Spore - not so legal copy, trying to decide whether im going to be stone bored in about a day or two or whether its worth going to buy the original and playing online.
Ive made it to the galactic age and flying around in my little ship - couple trade routes allies and enemies.
Are online games never ending? how would you win, conquer the galaxy? is that possible?
 
Well im in as Gory51 ... just got into Space. :)

Been busy more on creating stuff though

Yeah what is the Online element to this game?
 
well I have no idea as to how you get content as there is no content included in the game, is there? ive been playing will all those guys at the top's content - xybedout's stuff shows up the most though, prolly cause he made the most stuff.

AFAIK when i visit another planet there are ALWAYS new creatures, try scanning them, and they get added to your sporepedia thingy.

what creatures do you see on other planets etc? the same ones you made?

Nothing, only online element is that you have a chance of seeing your buddies creature running about some planet. Not him playing just the creature he created

EDIT: Its a single player game, Maxis did add their own creatures but online you broaden this libary with more player created creatures1
 
You can create Sporecasts in which u add the creatures u like, IE from buddys etc. then u can also select these to populate your planets
