Spore has landed...

Guess Im stopping past BTGames this evening on my way home :D and prehaps calling in sick tomorrow :rolleyes:

BT games has it as only launching tomorrow. Might call them later just to make sure that it hasn't been released early.
 
apparently 2 European sites only gave it 70 and 78%...

I think i will let you guys try it first and then decide..
 
Gamespot only gave it an 80.
Seems very average but who knows..might be awesome.Pink Creatures yay :
 
I've always thought that this game was trying to do too much and end the end suffer from being a jack of all trades, but master of none. This game probably won't excite serious gamers, like myself, but it would be something I'd get for my sister or girlfriend to play.

For serious gamers who want a serious Spore experience, we are better off playing PacMan, Sim City, Civilization 4, Galactic Civilizations 2 and in that order.
 
What are the minimum specifications for this game? I am just wondering if it will work on my laptop... (Yes I am an xbox360 owner, dont have a gaming PC)
 
So, what should I do, get spore or wait until reviews come out?
Another thing...the online play, is the internet required for validation only or is it MMORPG? :)

I guess you could give the creature creator demo a try and if your laptop is having problems then the full game will definitely make it grind to a halt.
