I doubt pc games would be better than console for some time to come
 
Can someone explain this game?

I don't understand the business about there being a Creature Creator aside from the actual game.

Is it considered an addon or something? What's the difference between the actual game and the creator, and are there any other addons/creator thingies planned for Spore?

Pc - Upgraded as technology moves on... Xbox, not.
Why would anyone pay R14000 for 2 HD4870X2's if Xbox has better graphics? you could buy many little boxes!

The Creature creator was there to give you a kind of a 'review' of the game as far as I see it. Like the Sims body/editor thing that is available. It allowed you to edit your creature with all the parts available but it now makes out an important part of the game. In Spore you use the built-in creature creator to 'evolve' so to speak.

exactly my point - consoles get outdated, so do the graphics.:D

(hence the reason for Crysis on PC, not on console - it's can't proccess it like a 9 series nVidia or 4XXX Series ATi)
 
lets not make this another console vs PC debate.. i got a PC and a ps3 and happy with both..

I wanna know form the people who are playing this if they will still play it again in 2 weeks time....

Playing it at the moment...will still be playing it after I get my own copy and get some nice online content for the game :D
 
there's already rumbles that it has the same shelf life as the Sims ......... could have told that months ago already.

it doesn't matter what it translates to in 'pc spec' terms ...... it is powerful and most times there is no noticeable difference between the platforms.

I used to be a PC fanboi but got fed-up with spending thousands of rands every few months, just to realize my sooper-dooper PC is now defunct. I want to buy a game and have the same experience the reviewers have, hence my move to a console. The XBOX 360 couldn't have been released at a better time - I had just about given up on gaming!

*** NOTE: I'm not bashing PC gaming/gamers. I still have a soft-spot for PC games, but only if they work on my laptop. :p
 
its not an excuse it reality,gears1 2years old now ran smooth gears 2 and farcry 2 when they come out will look damn pretty and run just as smooth,lets see your 2 year old pc run those games as smoothly or as pretty as xbox will.
