Spore Update... HOW?!?

I hear the Spore update is out.

Apparently, to get it, you need to have that stupid fawking crap EA Download Manager installed.

Anyways, I download EADM and installed it.

No Spore update there to download.

WTF is going on...

GOD I hate this EADM, It's such a crock of crap.
 
you can update WHITHIN the game - however, i'm not sure how big the patch is cause after 1 min it was at 3%....anyone know the size?
 
Okay, figured it out.

Once you have installed the stupid fawking EADM.
Restart your PC, go into Spore and bam, it starts downloading.

Easy eh... yeah but I still hate this... why get this stupid fawking EADM for a patch?!

there's not much you get extra that I saw on the spore site..

who's gonna do it?

(although there was some cheat or something)
 
not worth it, even if it was 5 mb....

maybe spend that time downloading and instead PLAY the game - i see you are still only in Tribal Stage HAHA!!
 
you got nothing to lose gdisa - just play the game.

My PC is going CRAZY during this patch...
HDD's reading like I have 1000000 chinese people in a storage room trying to remember all the 0's and 1's.
 
Thanks for the link, the EADM sucks. It looks like you cannot download the update external to Spore, and Spore is unresponsive until it is complete.
 
so is it an external exe update? cause I keep my patches cause I don't wanna download it again if I format sometime....

Yes it is. I happen to be the same way about patches, so I always look for stand alone patches.
 
Here's how you update spore - go to Control Panel. Go to Add/Remove programs. Click on spore. Click uninstall.

You have now successfully updated spore.
 
Have you even played it BlueCollar to make a stupid comment like that?
