I saw today that Spotify will start launching gift vouchers: http://www.theverge.com/2012/8/31/3281819/spotify-gift-card-target-physical-usa

If this is true, it could result in being able to buy premium access (i.e., unlimited streaming via mobile devices and international streaming) to non-US cardholders, as long as somebody starts selling these cards internationally (as with US iTunes vouchers). Previously, you had to have a US credit card to be able to purchase the premium service.

Thoughts?

Apologies, first of all for the thread necromancy. Can anyone recommend a good online reseller for Spotify gift codes?

Out of desperation, I had a look on ebay and bought a Spotify voucher there. It worked!

Better idea why not just create a virtual card like Entropay.
Then using a free VPN service like TunnelBear. Register a account.
Pay for premium and there you go.

Jerrycards want 6 dollars extra with Entropay you only pay 4.59 % of what you top up with.

Thus only it will cost you a total of $10.45 vs $14.99 at Jerrycards

Spotify does not allow Entropay payments (I've tried). It's listed somewhere in their FAQ's.

Just updated my previous post with a link. Check that out.

I know about that link. The info in there used to work but it's now outdated. When creating a US paypal account, Paypal now requires you to authenticate your profile (similar to FICA) when adding a payment method. You can no longer make payments without authenticating. There are ways around it if you have a US friend or you're willing to doctor paperwork but I don't consider those options. Vouchers are pretty much the easiest route in my opinion.
