I see we have a couple of uncapped players in our squad. Wonder if they are with Mweb?

Clever but lame, Very lame. Can't help but think that Duane Vermulen deserved a look in. I would have started De Jongh at 12 and put James on at 10 after 60 then move Ruan to 9. And should Januarie be there, Kockett and Duvenage where both so much better than him.

Spot on - exactly my thoughts as well!

I always thought I should have been a selector or coach, if they could bring my couch to the stadium I can guarantee a world cup :p

But seriously there are more deserving players my 15 would have gone:

1. Bj Botha
2. John Smit
3. Jannie Du Plessis/Brock Harris
4. Steven Sykes
5. Andries Bekker
6. Francois Louw
7. Juan Smit(needs game time)/Jean Deysel
8. Duane Vermulen

9. Dewald Duvenage
10. Peter Grant/ Ruan Pienaar/ Butch James
11. Brian Habana
12. Juan De Jongh
13.Jean De Villiers
14. Gio Aplom
15. Frans Steyn

Seriously - it really is time they start Rory. He is one of the few sharkies I like and he NEVER has an off day. Always thinking. Always playing his heart out.

I am a Sharks supporter and I personally feel Kockett has some discipline issues he needs to work on first.

One thing this team does show is the amount of talent we have in (and outside) this country.

Kockett is a million times better than January

January is fat and old....

I never said he wasn't.

The issue we have again is with the genius of Ruan Pienaar. He is clearly the Sharks first choice scrum half. The problem is that he is also their first choice fly half! He is just too good for his own good.

I know ;) Even if he's a little bit of a loose cannon, I can't see January getting a spot above him appart from January and de Villiers sharing their Capie wine with the other bergies :D

I would have had Pienaar at 9 and Butch at 10 (taking into account that PdV does not really want to play any Bulls/Stormers guys unless he must.

This is a little worrying....

This is despite coach Peter de Villiers on Friday lamenting the fact that he has "had no relationship with the uncontactable player", and Steyn's agent confirming on Saturday that there is a serious fall-out between the parties.

Ruan Pienaar, who like Steyn is reported to be at odds with the national coach, has been named as the flyhalf, even though it is said he is on his way to Northern Ireland.

Come kids. Look. This is brain on drugs. Now stay away, naughty little shits

Anybody know if Sykes is injured? If not, is there a reason why Hargreaves got selected ahead of him? Hargreaves is a good player, but Sykes was in the starting line up ahead of Hargreaves most of the S14

@ Gautanama (sp? :p) Juan has personal issues he needs to sort out (or at least this was the reason given for his absence from the team)

I would not tour with him as even the other sharks players do not look like they like him overly much. But I do not for a second doubt his talents.

I would play Vermaak any day before januarie.

what about Morne Steyn?:(

He will be rested as will Victor and a lot of bulls and stormers players. Wondering why bekker is playing as he has been really busy in the S14 season

I have only one question: WTF his Chilliboy doing in the 22????:mad:

If it is about colour why not pick Bandise Maku? He is of colour and 100000000 times better than chilliboy and he will not pick up an injury in the first 5 mins of the game!

I am also wondering why the hell Deysel was not included?

And i think you should stay an armchair supporter. Your pick sucks so bad i just vomited a little bit in my mouth...
