Spur gets new tech to keep kids safe

Are parents not supposed to look after their children any more?

Now the stores are starting to take responsibility for looking after children. I see opportunities for massive lawsuits.
 
Here I am wondering what the hell technology is gonna do against another racist argument in Spur.
 
Man, this community is toxic sometimes. They implemented something positive, they didn't take anything anyway. Bad parents will still be bad parents, good parents will still be vigilant, this isn't going to change that aspect. It's just nice to know it's there.

Sarcasm noted. It is sad that we live in a society where this is necessary but as a very vigilant bordering on paranoid parent, I still think this is a good idea. It really sucks, but it's a reality.

It's unfortunate that our country is so ****ed up that we need this, but ja. Here we are.

Keeping your kids within that kind of range all the time is impossible.
 
Do you think someone who wants to kidnap a kid won't mind damaging their clothing by cutting off the tag or removing it entirely? Child minders are also a big hole in the whole security of the child in the first place (if they actually did their job, then why would there be a need for additional security?)

that's the problem considering what happened in the toilet recently, no child is safe unless alarm activates inside toilets
 
Kid tag + parent tag allowed in toilets
kid tag alone = alarm
kid tag + parent tag allowed to leave play area
kid tag alone = alarm

kid tag anywhere but in the play area or seating area of the restaurant = alarm (unless with parent tag in the toilet).
