Spur Incident

That's why I don't have a child yet. Jokes aside. In this situation, you need a sensible adult that will talk to the 2 children involved. Find out what happened, educate both that violence won't resolve any issue. Teach the children to apologise for they're actions.

The parent (singular) should be involved because she/he raised him wrong.

Yep, if your kid lets someone else hit them, they were raised wrong. You should learn from a young age to fight back to avoid being bullied.

If you had been the guy, and subjected to that verbal abuse by the woman, what would you have done?

What any sensible person would, walk away. No need to threaten physical violence against someone who is just using words.

I agree they should fight back but not at such a young age.

He did walk away (at the beggining of the altercation after he threatened her with a ****klap) but she carried on and on...The table incident occurred after all the verbal abuse

Then the headline would have been racist white kid beats up black kid.

The revolt has begun [video at link]:

Johannesburg - Spur restaurants nationwide have banned a man from their eateries after an apparent scuffle between children in the play area of an Oakdene restaurant led to a near brawl between their parents.

When a Zulu and Nigerian person argue there is no cries about racism, the moment the other person isn't from African origins all hell breaks loose.

blah blah blah, don't care any more.......racism bandwagon needs to be set alight along with all the narrow minded-can't count two- twitter and facebook sheeple, dimwits. Can an argument for once be seen as an argument, without having to involve race.

If only for once people can look at these incidents from an unbiased perception. I didn't watch the video to the end, but that guy has issues. He should have complained to the manager instead of threatening a woman. I actually wonder if he would have done the same had a man been sitting there.

I witnessed something very similar a few weeks ago at a petrol station. I heard loud talking going on but when I started paying and getting ready to leave it had blown up in a massive argument. White guy and a black woman. I honestly dont know what it was about or who was right and who was wrong, but the white guy turned around a few times to leave and as he did the woman would hurl more profanaties and insults at him. "You fu*cking white boer" was just one that I distinctly remember. She really was taunting and provoking him to get a reaction out of him. It was a surreal experience to see someone behave like this in public.

Breeding a nation of sissies. Kids hit each other all the time, no need for the parents to get involved.

And instead of threatening to beat up the woman perhaps he should teach his kid to fight back, if they have some of his overly aggressive genes.

So reverse here a little, I get what you are saying.

The woman's kid is a boy, the gents kid is a girl.
Using your statement above about hitting woman, who struck a female first? Why cant she raise her son right, and instead altercations like this need to happen?

Both wrong on many levels.

Of course it's turned to a racist event and only the white guy banned.

Part of the story not told by the videographer(probably a crybaby too). I'm pretty sure any parent would have gone over and asked her politely to stop her kid from hitting the other kid. She probably gave him lip and he strips his moer. Nothing wrong with that. I'd smack her in the first 5 seconds that she flies.

Both kids involved were girls...so there goes your argument.
