So he was sitting next to the playground, and through all the noise manage to hear entire conversations? He managed to hear what the man said to his daughter in the playground, and then managed to hear the conversation across the room when the man went over to the woman? Some super senses on this guy.

Then I must have super senses too, because this guy's eyewitness account smells like BS

Why don't Spur just release all their video material of the incident including the playground? Then this will quickly die down. I've heard more than one account of what actually happened.

It doesn't matter which kid did what. That is what you guy's seem to.miss. It matters how the parents handled it. And they handled it badly. Both of them. But one took it way to far by wanting to assault the other.

So it was her son now? In the video the man says he saw her daughter hitting his daughter through the window.

Marilize Lloyed, a customer who was in the Spur when the argument ensued, said in a Facebook post that “Conveniently only the part that shows him angry was posted.”

She said, “The part where he asked this lady can she please sort out her child ’cause his daughter of 5 was slapped through the face twice by a child double her age”, was not posted.

The argument allegedly got so heated that the two customers yelled profane remarks at each other over children who are around the age of 10.

Look, they may have seen what happened in the children’s play area and each may view the account in his/her own interpretation whether it is the truth or not. The CCTV evidence already leaves a gap in their story, although some members here believes otherwise. It is this story which gained traction in the Krugerdorp and ‘boere’ community. The Boere Krisis Aksie (or their actual social community) is already calling on boycotting Spur.

And so another testimony is that "Lloyd said he noticed a large group of children playing next to him. Suddenly, one child grabbed another by the arm and hit her in the face with the back of his fist." and not a tap on the head.

Seems each one of use have to decide for ourselves what the truth is as the media can't provide it.

And this is the crux of the New South Africa, preconceptions of either
1) How characterless the black person was
or
2) How boorish and racist the white was, especially if Afrikaans.

If a bit of both then the media is really not up to scratch in providing balance.

Marilize and Johan Lloyed seemed to have missed the man 'aggressively' grabbing the lady's daughter. I highly doubt that Spur would lie. Everyone pushing to see the surveillance, understand that releasing this may compromise each other's case, should either party pursue legal proceedings. Cases, the results, aren't decided by the public, but it may be tainted by the public.
