Spur Incident

No shame, some of these whitey whingers. Even when provided with proof it's fake, they carry on screeching.

It's about making the issue at hand even bigger. No matter how many times you tell them it's unrelated, they don't want to know that.

Same with idiots posting the truck that blew over at the Huguenot Tunnel in 2012, claiming this happened the day the Argus was cancelled due to wind. Meanwhile in the Northern Suburbs it was a beautiful day  I commented on one saying it's fake, and the person blocked me :wtf:

Spur social media reply on the unreleased CCTV material,

We will not be releasing the footage of the play area as it includes numerous other children. We have however reviewed CCTV footage from three cameras in the play canyon. In the footage we are able to see that the children are in the same vicinity as each other, however we cannot conclude from the footage that an altercation occurred. The CCTV footage in the Play Canyon is also being viewed by media. If you would like to get in touch to discuss any concerns you have, you're welcome to contact us at [email protected]. Regards, Spur Family.

the media should report on it soon enough, pending. There are still legal prohibitions which requires approval, but I think it will be cleared up.

I see this statement by Spur is already remarked as a lie and cover up.

Lol oh the media, the media sees whats a best to stir up the most trouble .
Spur, y u no give the footage to some video production company to blur out the kids which weren't involved in this incident?
Y u do this, you must be got sh¡t to hide.
One employee on footage clearing his throat on a burger

Let the public decide and not let the media control the people.

I don't get it. The CCTV footage released of the altercation at the table had all the kids' faces blurred out.

Still nothing on why they didn't release the pre-fight material. It would be on exactly the same camera.

Whose kid started the assault?

We don't know which kid started the fight. We do know that kids fight and the fact of the matter is that if you don't want your kid exposed to fights then keep them by your side and don't allow them to play with other kids.

A kid who didn't stop hitting his daughter according to reports. Aren't we allowed to defend our children now? He should've spanked the little sh#t because she obviously isn't going too.

I'd wager to say that the kid who has a parent with violent tendencies is more likely to have started the fight. This guy has 6 open cases of assault and you are still defending him after seeing video footage of him grabbing someone else's kid by the arm in a violent manner.

Guess you just can't look at this objectively.

Rather it's you who is falling for a tainted well in this regard. It doesn't matter if he was literally Hitler, she has to share some of the blame for not handling this better. Both people acted like idiots.

If someone grabbed my kid like that I'd be infuriated. You can keep deflecting and talking kuk about both individuals being equally wrong but that is just not true. He grabbed her kid, that is messed up and ridiculous. Disagree? Then we simply have different standards for what is considered acceptable or not.

If she grabbed his child like that and he smacked the crap out of her, I'd say it was her fault. Grabbing someone else's child like that will infuriate the parent.

You can lie and deflect all you want to. He took it there and he is absolutely wrong after I've viewed what hard evidence is available. Don't care about your bias and ridiculous justifications.

1) You don't know how he approached her first (The CCTV magically doesn't have this bit). Eyewitnesses said he did it calmly and asked for her to discipline her child.

2) Both parties are acting under incomplete information. She is acting on the information her child told her. He is acting his child crying because another kid hit her. You know what they say about assumption being the mother of all f**kups? All we have are anecdotes from naughty children to confirm. Her kid might have been bullying his kid for all we know. Again, no CCTV footage to verify anything.

3) She knew her child had hit the other one hard before the father had even come to her table (daily vox). So immediately she should see that her kid has done something it shouldn't have (or maybe children hitting each other hard is a good thing in her point of view). Her kid even knew that it had hit his kid too hard. That immediately should send warning signals to her that her parent might be slightly angry.
What would you say if her kid had retaliated by breaking his kids arm in some way? Would you say that she deserved it?

4) No parent likes to see their child getting hurt. Her kid was responsible for hurting his, as was his kid responsible for hurting hers. Which means it doesn't really matter who apologises first as both are in the wrong, however since he took issue and went to her, it is a polite gesture to apologise.

5) As for why she should apologize first. It is because being a better person is the correct thing to do if you want to be a good role model for those around you.

Under this, his actions are not excusable either. Encouraging violence towards others you disagree with doesn't help anyone. And for that he deserves all the bad reputation he is getting.
He should have rather done what my dad did in such circumstances and walk way, then drive home swearing like a trooper.

So the part not captured on video had him behaving civilly? So his past history of violence and from what was recorded is nothing to go by?

I'm honestly shocked at the level of stupidity on display in this thread. Stupidity or plain bias.

It wasn't her kid. It was her god kid. I'm not absolving him of any guilt but she was no saint and by dismissing her of any guilt is a disservice. Him touching the kid was a nono, but her egging him on was also not helping things.

What history of violence?
I'm not sticking up for this guy but people has been saying this but nobody can say where the ly get the info from.

What I am saying is, he took it there. He touched her god child, he pulled on her god child's arm, that was the first point of contact from an adult. The kids getting into a fight is just that, kids getting into a fight. When someone touches a child in your care or your child or a nephew or god child in this case, you will more likely than not react emotionally. He took it there and that is something that so many here don't want to admit and I'm sure that bias is the reason why.

My point is, we all know now that this guy has six, SIX similar cases open against him. He grabbed his own girlfriend by the throat in one incident and now we hear people creating the narrative that before anything was recorded, this upstanding gentleman walked up to this lady and politely asked her to discipline her child and she just went off like a banshee and told him to **** off? Sorry but as intelligent human beings we must take all clear evidence into account.
