What I am saying is, he took it there. He touched her god child, he pulled on her god child's arm, that was the first point of contact from an adult. The kids getting into a fight is just that, kids getting into a fight. When someone touches a child in your care or your child or a nephew or god child in this case, you will more likely than not react emotionally. He took it there and that is something that so many here don't want to admit and I'm sure that bias is the reason why.

My point is, we all know now that this guy has six, SIX similar cases open against him. He grabbed his own girlfriend by the throat in one incident and now we hear people creating the narrative that before anything was recorded, this upstanding gentleman walked up to this lady and politely asked her to discipline her child and she just went off like a banshee and told him to **** off? Sorry but as intelligent human beings we must take all clear evidence into account.
You seriously don't get it eh?
If the child was disciplined in the first place the altercation with have not taken place!

Kids being kids is not a statement which refers to a kid physically abusing another kid, it was not an accident nor a mistake. It was a conscious assault on another kid.

If we only viewed the footage of the assault among the kids, would you continue to moan the statement kids being kids? NO! you'd probably state oh that's some terrible parenting and DO NOT deny it.

Fair enough he grabbed and pulled the kid but he did so when he realized this woman is going to do absolutely nothing to rectify the situation.

He could have easily ignored the situation, ignored the fact that his daughter was assulted, what's stopping the kid from going to spur on another occasion an assaulting another kid?
Absolutely nothing when people like yourself and parents like madam is more concerned on the outcome instead of the root of the problem.

If someone grabbed my kid like that I'd be infuriated. You can keep deflecting and talking kuk about both individuals being equally wrong but that is just not true. He grabbed her kid, that is messed up and ridiculous. Disagree? Then we simply have different standards for what is considered acceptable or not.

If she grabbed his child like that and he smacked the crap out of her, I'd say it was her fault. Grabbing someone else's child like that will infuriate the parent.

You can lie and deflect all you want to. He took it there and he is absolutely wrong after I've viewed what hard evidence is available. Don't care about your bias and ridiculous justifications.
Well that clearly shows your standards. If she grabbed his child and he smacked the crap out of her I'd say he was wrong. You reviewed the "evidence" available? Mwhahahahahaha

What history of violence?
I'm not sticking up for this guy but people has been saying this but nobody can say where the ly get the info from.
Pulled from their arses to say it bluntly.

'We are not trying to hide evidence' - Spur on play pen footage

Johannesburg - Restaurant chain Spur has denied claims that it tried to conceal evidence about the angry exchange between two parents at its Texamo outlet in Oakdene, Johannesburg, last weekend.

Spur Group CEO Pierre van Tonder told News24 on Friday that the only reason they had not released the footage of the play area, where one girl allegedly hurt another girl, was mainly because the children of other customers could also be seen.

"Due to the sensitive nature of the incident, because of other children being involved, you will appreciate the fact that we were reluctant to release the video footage to the general public," Van Tonder said.

News24 was allowed to see the footage at the company's head office in Woodmead on Friday morning.

It shows two girls following one another down a set of stairs into the play area. They then disappear behind a play structure which obstructs the camera’s view. However, the girls can be seen playing with one another and other children in the area. At one point, one girl runs out of the area, and then runs back in. Shortly after that, both girls walk out, followed by some of the other children.

It is still unclear what happened during the time they were out of the camera’s view. However, when both girls walk out of the play area, there is no sign that either one is distressed, crying, or hurt.

On Sunday, a man believed to be Nico Viljoen, from Orkney, North West, accosted Lebohang Mabuya at a table, where she was sitting with a number of children. He accused her god-daughter of hitting his daughter on the head in the play area.

Apology

A cellphone recording of the incident, in which they were heard screaming profanities at each other, was shared on social media, sparking nationwide outrage.

On Wednesday, Spur apologised to Mabuya, saying her version of events was correct after viewing the CCTV footage themselves. Viljoen was subsequently banned from ever setting foot in a Spur restaurant in the country.

On Thursday, Spur released the CCTV footage of the altercation between Viljoen and Mabuya to the public. This was met with mixed reaction, and some people called for footage of the play area to also be released.

Van Tonder told News24 that the company was considering releasing the footage, but until that decision was taken, he was adamant there was no attempt to hide anything from the public.

"I am sure you will appreciate that we are highly sensitised to the fact that there were other children playing in the area at the time," he said.

On Thursday, Mabuya said her son had suffered emotional trauma after video footage of the incident trended online.

If my ten year old punched /hit a five year old girl, I would make every attempt to placate her parents...any responsible parent would.

Edit
So many different versions of this incident. The lady's kid is a boy, then it's a girl. She's three, then he's ten...:wtf: Now it's her seven year old son who's traumatised :wtf:

Yeah I know, but apparently some keyboard warriors who saw a few seconds of a soundless clip know more than the witnesses because they all have to be his friendz.

Clearly they witnessed a different incident, totally unrelated to this one.

Yeah right. So Spur can decide to apologise to her based on soundless footage but the guy who's version is corroborated by eye witnesses who heard everything gets banned? Sorry but you lost the plot here. Don't expect me there again, Dros here we come. And on Monday my Spur investment is going to Choppies.

I really didn't want to get involved in this again, but you noticed that this kid you are talking about is 3 years old. 3. a Tiny 3 year old is now assaulting 5 year olds. People like you are the reason *******s like Malema has support to flush our country down the shutter.

I will rather ask whether the Lloyd's had a clear view on the area as described by the article,

It shows two girls following one another down a set of stairs into the play area. They then disappear behind a play structure which obstructs the camera’s view. However, the girls can be seen playing with one another and other children in the area. At one point, one girl runs out of the area, and then runs back in. It is still unclear what happened during the time they were out of the camera’s view. However, when both girls walk out of the play area, there is no sign that either one is distressed, crying, or hurt.

What may or may not have happened is then not covered by CCTV, and then must be visible to the service area as per the witnesses' public testimony as published by krugersdorpnews.co.za,

Eye witness account 1) by Marilize Lloyed:

She said, “The part where he asked this lady can she please sort out her child ’cause his daughter of 5 was slapped through the face twice by a child double her age”, was not posted.

Eye witness account 2) by Johan Lloyd:

Johan Lloyd and his wife were sitting next to the playground against the glass divider when the havoc started.

Lloyd said he noticed a large group of children playing next to him. Suddenly, one child grabbed another by the arm and hit her in the face with the back of his fist.

“The girl that was struck immediately ran out of the playground to her dad,” said Lloyd. “She was crying and holding her face.”

because well, the above does not coincide with the other.

But they are eye witnesses and were there so their versions must be true. Why are we doubting them?

No, you don't get it. You say if she disciplined her kid this wouldn't have happened? I have a problem with this ignorant and stupid statement for two reasons. First, we don't know which child started this, I know in your bias little brain it must have been the black kid but we don't know, it's as simple as that. Second this guy was aggressive and as far as we can see, he was the first one to start with the swearing. He was definitely the first one to lay hands in someone else's child. So your "if the child was disciplined" statement is plain and simply idiotic. Another thing, who is he to tell her how to discipline her child? Even if her God child did, he was so aggressive there was no chance to resolve the situation.

You talk of the root of the problem? Well that is another fictitious scenario and narrative you have created in your tiny brain to support your bias. Yes I viewed evidence, video footage is considered evidence and it is all we have for this. If memory serves you consider faith to be evidence and believe in sky fairies, no wonder you haven't a clue as to what real evidence looks like, you rely on faith based evidence to create and fulfill the narrative you want to be reality but bad news, it isn't the truth. No matter how much faith you have and no matter how much you will it to be true.

There's just no reasoning with unreasonable people like you because facts aren't important to you. False narratives are what you live for and it's obvious by so many statements you've made on this forum over time.

We don't know which kid started the fight. We do know that kids fight and the fact of the matter is that if you don't want your kid exposed to fights then keep them by your side and don't allow them to play with other kids.

We can know, if Spur releases the video. If my kid gets assaulted I will also be very upset.
