You truly cannot see the difference between him raising his hand to another man vs him raising his hand to a woman? In what scenario do you see the woman being able to defend a physical attack from this man? In what scenario do you see those children being able to defend themselves from the brute overturning the table and injuring them? If you being a woman cannot see that, there is no hope for stopping the abuse of women and children in this country. I'm truly astounded that you would make such a statement.

I'm a woman also and have been one for a fair time.

I totally disagree that feminism has anything to do with "women and men being equal" as they are patently not; rather, feminism is for the liberation of the female from the male-dominated setup.

his first approach did not work, she did not apologise.

so to lash out at her, he tried to give her a fright. as a FU type thing. she recognized what he was trying to do and stood up against it.

Not to carry on, but racist behaviour is not limited to one race not wanting to be around another race. Racist behaviour can also be displayed in the way a person reacts or behaves toward another race. When I first watched the video I was convinced his attitude toward her was coloured by racism, but now that more things have come to light about him, it's obvious that that's how he treats all women.

The lady was apparently honest and admitted her child klapped the other child.

This could have been avoided if BOTH parents conducted themselves in a civil manner.

He has aggression issues and seems to have a history with violence towards women.

BUT i am not convinced this is a race issue. It is all hear say on twitter so far regarding the racism aspect.

People are too quick to label other people racist in this country and it only devalues legitimate forms of racism.

Edit : go after him on the violence issue but not racism. Not every white person in this country is racist.

This incident exactly demonstrates what i've been saying about most South African males for a very long time. Arrogant, angry, belligerent, sexist and ever ready to raise a hand to a woman should she dare to not accept his word as law.

The spur has turned into a cattle class dump in recent years.

Go and rewatch that video and this time take off your coloured glasses. The woman can clearly be heard saying that his daughter was bullying her daughter before she eventually defended herself. Judging by his abusive nature, it wouldn't task your brain to conclude that his daughter is a bully too.

She didn't sound scared to me. If she was scared she would have kept quiet or backed off. Or maybe cried.

Then you don't know human nature or you're so biased you chose not to see her plight. I'm smaller than most and when I get scared I don't back down. I defend myself with words. I would have been scared too if that aggressive gorilla came up to me and scared my kids on top of everything else.
