Had a call from Sentech today. Don't know what they were calling about but I educated them on the Law of Contract and fact that I have a clear black and white understanding that if either of us wish to cancel, it will be with one calendar month's notice. This took a bit of getting through. Including the fact that we are both bound by this contract. Such as it is, I will remain with Sentech until end Nov and suck down as much bandwidth as I can.

same here, but without the call thankgoodness just one more month to go of crap service

Good luck to everyone.

We spoke to sentech today and they made it very clear anyone not on contract (our invoice says we are but since we have paid off the modem, it's not even worth the paper its written on) will be cut off at the end of Oct, unless you agreed to move over to Flexi.

The same goes for those on contract. The minute your contract is up (aka you've paid for the modem they don't want back) you are out, unless you move to Flexi. I think they are completely trying to kill their internet service. You can't even reason with them. I'm not aware that anyone received anything in writing, or even an email, but yet they are cutting off lots of ppl at the end of the month.

:/

Thanks sentech. Immoral business practice ftw it seems :)

Then they will be in breach of contract (ironically the same contract they quoted to me), simple as that.

Our lawyer will gladly sue for damages including legal costs
