Sri Lanka have taken control of the match. Kula and Randiv taking 2 wickets each to give the game some spice.

Paki's have thrown this one away...

A huge innings defeat is on the cards...

The pitch will turn much more in the days to follow...

Yes, starting to wonder if the Pakis aren't throwing this.

Pakistan hate playing tests.
Too little money for so much work.

Bookies pay better in the Pro 20's.

Stumps Day 3

Pakistan just do not look committed enough

Sri Lanka 472 & 137/5d
Pakistan 100 & 218/6 (81.5 ov)
Pakistan require another 292 runs with 4 wickets remaining

Pakistan slowly losing it. Their tail beckons and the Lankans are looking good make this 1 - 0 :)

Day four in progress

Easy win for Sri Lanka inside of 4 days :)

Sri Lanka 472 & 137/5d
Pakistan 100 & 300 (114.0 ov)

Sri Lanka won by 209 runs

Second test was a washout. Too much time lost to bad weather to get a result.

The third test, however, is interestingly poised (despite losing a bucket load of time to weather).

Day 4 is almost done, but it looks like a result is possible despite Pakistan batting on the slow side in their 2nd innings.

Pakistan 226 & 299/8 (104.0 ov)
Sri Lanka 337

Pakistan lead by 188 runs with 2 wickets remaining

Adnan Akmal is coming out to bat, with a hairline fracture on the left ring finger

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Brave man. Reminds me of Biff's effort.

Day 5 - Lunch

Sri Lanka 337 & 27/0 (5.0 ov)

Sri Lanka require another 243 runs with 10 wickets remaining (and minimum 66 overs remaining)

Sri Lanka require another 138 runs with 8 wickets remaining (and minimum 33.4 overs remaining)

Draw.

Pity the 2nd day got washed out...... could have been a great last day.

Agreed. I was hopeful of a little more from the lads from the islands. Had they wrapped up the Pakistan tail a little earlier today, it might have been on. Still it could have gone either way.

Paki's continue their fine tradition in throwing young fast bowlers into the deep end...

Strange how the Indians don't seem to have any depth in the same department( they seem to be lacking in bowlers. period. ATM)

If I wasn't a Saffer I would be supporting the West Indians right now...

They look an excellent all-round team in the near future... Also unpredictable !!!

The new guy for Pakistan seemed to fair play. I look forward to Aamir's return.
