Is this a good drive or is it a waste and instead should I go for a 500gig?

Also how does this fit in to the machine? Never used on that is not SATA

I have a 120 gig as primary but its sata and its a mission , always getting full quickly.
Is it maybe a better option for something like this perhaps?

Thanks guys

You need a NVMe slot on your MB to plug that 960evo into. What MB you got again?

Have you looked on carbonite for a ssd?

Thanks bud I do have the slot I always forget about Carbonite
I just wonder if its worth the extra cash for that type of SSD?

It's faster than a sata based ssd, personally I'd rather go for a bigger drive, 500GB-1TB.

Prices have dropped but not that much I think
Wonder if its better to just have a secondary drive in the PC and keep the main drive what I have?
Maybe get a 1 TB normal SATA

Have the Samsung 960 EVO as a boot drive in NVMe mode (Asus TUF H370-Pro motherboard).

It definately feels worth it. The primary advantage is how responsive the system is now.
