Not want I want to hear!
Getting some extra 'pocket-money funds' in within the next few months - about R7k... Am seriously looking at either going the dual route, i.e. keeping my current 500GB in the optical drive c/o data-doubler, and putting a 250gb SSD in the main bay... BUT - have seen a couple of US sites warning against the reliability of having the HDD in the external...
Benefit to the above, is that I would still have some cash left over to get that improved monitor/ATV3/iPod that I've been toying with purchasing...
OR - I could go the whole hog and buy a 500GB (or maybe stretch up to a 700gb) Sammy 840 EVO - and forfeit all the other little niceties, but then keep the optical - and enjoy the benefits of increased/similar storage, but at SSD speeds....
Decisions, decisions. Please help.
