SSHD for HP Envy

Hey all,

I am looking at removing my standard HD and replacing it with an SSHD and then popping the old HD into an external casing to pull off all the info and then be kept as storage as obviously I will only have 500GB as opposed to the 1TB I have now.

Can anyone see any pitfalls with this idea?

Also, can anyone recommend a good online distributor when I can get some decent pricing.
Incredible Infection was as always, over priced a lot (R1999 for 500GB brand I have never heard of).

Why not go SSD? 250GB for +/-R1500. If space is not an issue.

I bought Kingston SSDs from PC International. The longest operation was cleaning the old disks and doing an error check on the old disks.
The dock I used was a USB 2 dock so the transfer took a few hours. But the end result is great.
