A quick question.. is the tray/shield method supposed to block other signals or amplify/collect (like a satellite dish) the signal facing the side of the shield where the modem is? I always thought it was the latter..
So the problem with disconnecting/not connecting again is due to a "stronger" tower. Interesting.. how are you supposed to calculate the distance not knowing where the tower is? Are there addresses for the towers? ie. Corner of smith and west..(example)
