Stage 1 load shedding is back: Eskom

Its always nice to hear about Faults at a Nuclear Power Station :wtf:

Just take note... Tshwane has put out a revised schedule from 1 Feb as well as renumbering the groups. Seems that stage 2 has been adjusted to be in sync with stage 1. As an example : my stage 1 was 18:00-20:30 and my stage 2 10:00-12:30. So when they switched to stage 2 during the afternoon, I missed loadshedding :) Obviously someone picked up on this and rectified it :(

In Stage 1 we are scheduled for a blackout from 10h00 to 12h30.

However if it escalates to Stage 2 during that time, then we will have another blackout from 14h00 to 16h30.

/prepares for the latter

My area is never affected by stage 1 and stage 2 is never in the evening

If they can avoid Stage 2 until 14:00 I'm safe…

According to my schedule stage 1 today would be now till 10:30 so hopefully will not be shed.

Why you bastards get 2.5 hours and in jhb I get 4.5 hours?

Those schedules are useless... you are all wasting your time.

The only inaccuracies I've come across is the Municipality cutting the load shedding short. I can live with that.

I agree but it might just be a PE thing, also it seems we operate on an even hour schedule so if Eskom declares stage 2 at 13:00 it only impacts the slot starting at 14:00.

That would be in stage 2. Why 4.5 hours in stage 1?

I've always had 4.5 hours in all stages, only realised now that you guys get less in stage 1(but regardless of stage my 4.5 hours is generally 6-8 hours)
