Port Elizabeth people i saw Facebook post where municipality is reviewing 4 hour stage 1 and 2 cuts at night
Yeah - they're concerning themselves with the slots that have the least impact on us because we're asleep.

Eskom to halt power cuts between 4pm and 6pm to ease traffic congestion

Eskom says it will suspend rotational load shedding between 4pm and 6pm on Monday to "help ease traffic congestion".
Power cuts will then resume at 6pm and continue until 6am on Tuesday.
"Suspending load shedding during the peak traffic hours is a pilot programme aimed at achieving an appropriate Loadshedding Philosophy for the country," the utility said in a statement. "As this is not possible everyday, it will be confirmed each day, dependent on the risk based on the available capacity and emergency reserves on the day."

The utility will also try and suspend power cuts between 6am and 9am every morning. Power rationing will continue until Thursday morning at 6am.

Apparently traffic is only a problem on Mondays then because it's 4:18pm on Tuesday and we're off.

Bloody hell, why don't they just switch you off for a week at a time, doubt you'd notice seeing as you're off for that bloody long. That's an horrific schedule!

Meanwhile, here in Namibia, they still don't know what's this load shedding thing is we make a fuss of

"this period of loadshedding" they say, like it's something that only lasts for a few hours

So it's now hovering around 11 to 12k and it's stage 2, yet last week it was 12 to 14k and no load shedding??
Is this because they've got more in maintenance?
Also why no further updates from City Power on Kelvin.
