Yes, Dudu was in court yesterday, and the cabinet is having a lekgotla.

Yea I prefer it during the day when I'm at the office with a generator.

At night is when I do internet stuff.
You're lucky.

My work is based in schools - a generator is a luxuary for most of them.
 
they are rehearsing for 9pm tonight
Phoned Eskom....they said it's a technical fault in our area apparently. No estimate on repair time. Which means we might have no power till load shedding scheduled time and then the 2 and a half hours after. Blew through a few beers...it helped....on to the whiskey now. Sad state of affairs in this country. :(

basically it is now after hours and they have gone home and couldn't give a flying F about your affairs
i too have had 4 beers now and moving onto the whiskey :thumbsup:

How long before you have to replace the batteries?

That all depends on usage, good maintenance and frequency of LS.
Theoretically...I would imagine 2 years at the current frequency of power cuts in this country.

YMMV though
 
#CITY POWER NOT LOADSHEDDING

Eskom has declared the implementation of Loadshedding Stage 2 from tonight between 9pm and tomorrow Friday 6am.
However City Power would like to urge its customers within the City of Johannesburg not to panic as we won't be loadshedding.
