Though since he's taken over, we seem to only have loadshedding overnight.
Which isn't too bad IMO.

Rather have the lights out while I'm asleep, then when I need to work/use tech/etc.
 
I am surprised that the emergency resources are depleted. I mean, emergency resources are rationed to be allocated to emergencies. I would have expected them to load shed us prior to such emergencies and only exhaust these emergency resources when absolutely necessary.

When the system is constrained, you shed to replenish reserves. This is why we have stages. Now you can’t use reserves and emergency interchangeably. Reserves are redundancy.

For the political party in control, he is but a mere bubblehead. The rest is absolutely accurate in my opinion.

Yea I prefer it during the day when I'm at the office with a generator.

At night is when I do internet stuff.
 
23:00-01:00 looks like I won't finish my night data for this month

Mecer 2400VA Inverter (Community Support)

Since we haven't had LS (and I haven't had a chance to connect it up permanently via a cutover switch) my Mecer unit is currently unplugged (ie. not being floated) and stashed in corner for now. My question is: Does the inverter have any draw on the batteries while off and unplugged? If it does...

You don't have backups? My internet stuffs keep on working fine. Get yourself a Ratel 430M.

I'm scheduled from 8pm - 10:30pm, but normally they only shed 2 hours.

So will they turn the power off at 9pm just to turn it back on at 10pm again?

Guess I'll know at 9pm....:cautious:

Same here. We shall see.

Also scheduled for the overnight 02:00 to 06:30. :(

So in the 9 hours of LS currently scheduled, we will be off for about 6 of those hours. FFS

Assclowns seem to be loadshedding right now. We have no power
