Stage 2 Load-Shedding [22/03/2019]

That is insane, why are the blocks so long in (PE?). My folks are there, and the schedule is bananas.
Luck of the draw. Stage one overnight was 2:00 to 06:30, then when it transitioned to Stage 2 this morning we had 10:00-12:30 and 18:00-20:30. Assuming the same happens tomorrow we'll only have 12:00-14:30 and 20:00-22:30.

PE residential areas gets shedded more than CPT, DNB, or JNB because we don't shed industries (which account for 60% of the consumption)

I'm fully convinced PE actually stands for Powerless Eternity

Oh lol - nope - but I must admit those eye are a little bit suspicious. Fair enough - I will chose another picture. I wanted a cat relaxing on the beach - seeing that I am going to one tomorrow.

Better ?

Yeah ... I was just kidding BTW.

Now watch...all these new questions about inverters and batteries and generators and chargers will stop just as suddenly as it started.

Then when loads shedding comes back, it will just all start up again...

The best time to prepare is between load shedding "cycles"....not during.

But the same people and more "new" people will be back next time: "How do I keep my TV and pc and router going?"..."Why is my fibre down when there is load shedding?"..."What batteries must I buy?"

Can't wait.
