Awww thank you Eskom Get loadshedding at 2 14:00 today at work that has a generator and then get loadshedding from 18:00 at home

Why is the statues becoming more "News" worthy than this issue?

Isn't that the point, to distract from other issues, as well as give lazy people a chance to be able to pretend to themselves they're doing something positive. Otherwise they might have to be involved in actual work to uplift truly disadvantaged communities. Like spending their spare time helping out at under-resourced schools, or constructing homes and shelters, providing places for pupils to study. No need for that when the world's problems can be solved by blockading offices and dancing on tables.
