Stage 2 loadshedding from today until... 11pm Monday

Bloody useless idiots.
Nothing further on what is being done to improve things, or what they have fixed, or who they are prosecuting. The CEO has gone dead quiet now.

Pity one can't claim reimbursements from government or Eskom for fuel spent on a generator or for going off grid...

Two schedules for me today. 12 to 2:30PM and again from 8 to 10:30PM.

According to the Cape Town City website we will also be on Stage 2 instead of the usual 1 stage behind everyone else..
According to the City of CT's facebook page : " City-supplied customers will be on Stage 1 load-shedding from 12:00 until 00:00 tonight, 14 January. The City is able to protect its customers from one stage of load-shedding. Eskom-supplied customers will be on Stage 2 from 12:00. "

so getting hit 20:00 - 22:30 today, too early to go to bed, too late to go outside, not to worry I'll sit and sip some whisky in the dark

... oh right we're in level 3 lockdown as well, p035!

Johannesburg had that for a brief period last year, by brief it was one week than Kelvin supposedly popped and never again.

To be fair, we were warned about this. As shirty as it is Eskom did say we would be loadshedded for 2021.
Get backup power. This eff-up isn’t going to be fixed anytime soon.

We will be loadshed from 12:00 Friday, until sometime on Sunday, because it takes CityPower 2 days to get our power back after loadshedding.

I see they have now updated their website. I guess that's good news under the circumstances.
