Yup feels like 2022 againThey announced that there would be load shedding at 5:30pm… at exactly 5:30pm?

Eskom Stage 3, CoCT Stage 1.I have no idea whether Cape Town has reduced load shedding. They haven't announced anything, so I will accept the Eskom schedule and, as always, my area is shed at the worst times.
Oh goodness, I need to do my second provisionals! No surprise. 1st March, new financial year.

announced at 17:30 and apparently effective 17:30
except I was cooking at the time and sure as fahk noticed when the power was cut ... 17:20 right in the middle of a f-ing meal being prepared with no prior warning
F-YOU eskom, may you all be unemployed without even one red cent in severance pay, cnuts!
Used mine to top up batteries in the morning and evenings, but also had a 65 hour outage last week.Used it last week for a 50 hour power failure - ran it from 07h00 to 19h00 each day, then this week for 3 hours on Thursday & then again yesterday for a 5 1/2 hour power interruption - the Observatory substation power feed to our area has major issues - only used around 10 - 12 litres so far (it has a 15 litre fuel tank)- topped up the tank from my 25 litre jerry can when I shut if off yesterday afternoon.
It runs ALL of my electronics - PC, TV, streaming box, Home Theatre system, 2 x LTE routers & 2 x fridges (a bottom freezer fridge & a bar fridge) - as well as my neighbour's fridge & his TV, streaming box & fridge.

Going to get an inverter when I get paid next month so I can also do the same - run the Gennie during the day - to top up the batteries & run the fridges & LTE routers during the night...Used mine to top up batteries in the morning and evenings, but also had a 65 hour outage last week.
