They found it on my mom’s leg

Next week Friday she will have 6 cm removed from her leg and the nearest node to see if it has spread...

Sheez people this makes me so sad.. I just feel like crying or kicking something.
If it has spread her chances on surviving this is between 27 and 70%.
She is only 54.
I did not know where to post this and i just needed to tell someone.

Sorry to hear hun, and I know it's not probably going to be appreciated and I'm going to get dirty emails from everyone, but when you said the "between 27 and 70%" I immediately felt I had to reply and say, "You have a 100% chance to not make it out this world alive". It's in jest so I hope you enjoy the irony of statistics.

I guess I'm used to close family dying on me with all kinds of cancers and heart attacks... death doesn't scare me as much as just not being able to talk to them anymore (even though I do, I'm a little crazy in da head you know)

So I hope and wish your mom the best of luck and please.... 67.9225% of all statistics are generally made up and don't really apply to the individual. So be strong. And don't kick and cry... you may end up with a broken toe
