Eskom announces all-day Stage 4 load-shedding

Eskom has announced that it will implement Stage 4 load-shedding at 14:00 on Monday, 27 November 2023, until 05:00 on Saturday, 2 December.

The power utility said it needs to increase rotational power cuts to manage the higher-than-anticipated demand and its emergency reserves.

Just wondering whether it could be large businesses (i.e. mines) in the background adjusting their usage? I don't know if published demand and supply includes these businesses, perhaps they need more power.
