We had load shedding in 2008, then nothing till once in 2014, than again for half a year in 2015, nothing from 2015 till 2018.
So since 2008 we've 7 1/2 years where there was no load shedding. Since 2018 though we've not missed a beat

So, if their aim is more load shedding, they are doing better now.

We have had continuous power problems in Alberton since 2008. You were lucky. Some places the grid and infrastructure are more stable than in other areas.

Like I said in a previous post. Eskom's main word is Problem. They blame everything & anybody for their PROBLEMS. Have gone international now. LOL. Never hear the word SOLUTION. According to my friend in SA, they got people to pay more as well or got an increase in payment. For what?

There's a difference between municipality issues vs National grid issues, sadly from 2016 my area started its kak

Gonna call BS on this one, if the reason for the load shedding is because of the unprotected strike and thus no one reported to work on maintenance, then even if the strike gets resolved tomorrow, it only leaves them 2 days to complete whatever maintenance work that were not completed due to the strike. And guys on site don't really work 100% on the first day of work, takes them a few days to get back into things.
