Stage 7 load-shedding warning

The trend is certainly showing this as a reality. Even at Stage 6 generators are working hard at some reservoirs, and allowance is not being made for servicing these generators. Stage 7 allows even less time for reservoirs and cellphone tower batteries to recharge. The coming year or two is going to be very interesting. What with the massive price increases for electricity, it has become a no-brainer to put solar and batteries in.

Don't worry people. The cANCer will end load shedding. Ramapoes said so. And bubbleboep Mantashe says 6 to 12 more months then it will be over.

Wasn't the latest price increase attached to Terms & Conditions?

Something about 70% of the power must always be provided or something.

I'm personally not as confident. When the internet dies, sewerage is flowing down the streets, water isn't pumped to houses, the cold distribution chain collapses and inflation takes over, what are 99% of us going to do to?
 
There is still load reduction after stage 8 which is just no power.

Except we domkoppe for not making a plan ages ago to prevent this situation. Letting yourself fall into **** and then praising yourself for being able to clean some **** off yourself isn't much.
