I have had my one number (082) since 1997. When I went for family topup I had to get a new number (mine wasn't in some range so that it could be used for family topup), I use both numbers in two phones now.
As soon as MNP comes available I will be going to VM with that number, the Vodacom prepaid options are just not flexible enough for my needs, while VM is a perfect fit.

had my number like since mtn started. going somewhere else if cheaper and keeping the same number sounds good.BUT the cost involved.....aaaaaa now there is the catch,the transfer cost and the cost of porting your calls....! HA!gotcha! again....
