Hmmm, Need some advice here.
My Mom ‘s TV seems erratic and picture drift from channel.
Her replacement requirement is definitely not a need for a Plasma, LCD or LED TV.
Hence the question. Is there any cons replacing with a similar 74cm CRT Tube conventional unit.
Specifically referring to future broadcasts, compatible decoder, etc.
These units goes for + - ZAR 1500 etc.
Any specific criteria I must be looking out with the purchase of a 74cm television unit for her operational use.

74cm CRTS that you get nowdays aren't really good as before. Colours are dark and picture is not sharp and smooth like the old Plano's/Wega's. Best to move on to a LCD. Most content is broadcast widescreen nowdays so widescreen LCD + decoder is the way to go.
