Standard Bank app and Internet banking problems

Standard Bank appears to be experiencing issues with its mobile banking app and Internet banking platform, with customers reporting seeing error messages and experiencing limited functionality.

Outage tracking website Downdetector shows a sizeable spike in complaints that began at around 07:30 on Monday, 2 December 2024.

Couldn't pay for petrol this morning with debit or credit card. Lucky I know the guys there and told them I'll be back in the afternoon to sort it out.

Standard Bank have taken to processing debit orders on Sundays, a nin business, non banking day, when it suits them - hypocrites.

SBK is becoming crappier by the day....

I always download my gold credit card statement after the 24th of the month, because they seem to be to stupid to email it to me.

Now, suddenly my December24 statement is not available in the app or online, so I had to phone them and ask that they email it to me.

What is wrong with this bank?!

and now those morons charged me R2.75 on my current account (god knows why current) AND R65 on my CC account for "statement fees", after having confirmed when they called me, that there will be no charges......

You can't make this shyte up

standard Bank really is next level kak. i despise dealing with them more than i do the municipality.

OTP issues

Tried both App and Website, still nothing coming through, so frustrating.

Been there, done that ... the reckon me I asked for a monthly statement, and they charg for it. Asked them for the proof where I asked for it, it was quickly reversed

maybe not the best thread to ask this...... but, how does one do a cash withdrawal at a retailer (checkers/PnP etc) instead of an ATM?
