Standard DSTV Remote Colour Buttons

Does anybody know how to use the 4 coloured buttons on the remote?

I thought it was to save 'favourite' channels so I held it down when I was on a specific channel yet nothing happens. Cant find mention of it in any guide as well

Does anyone know?

As far as I know it does nothing on a standard decoder. Except for one button that jumps between the last two channels viewed. But "Alt" does the same.

It is for PVR functionality only. I might be wrong though.

That is the standard remote for normal decoder & PVRs, the coloured PVR buttons wont do anything on a standard decoder
