Im at a loss for words..... once again I can not get into my online banking with this POS bank
They need to do a Worst Bank in South Africa competition so I can vote for Standard Bank.
So glad I moved last month. Seriously. I have been putting it off for years and actually took a damn hour and went to FNB. Now I'm happy, not been with them for long so can't say I won't run into trouble with them going forward. But for now, I feel much more at ease.

So using this I was able to access my online bank, but when I try send money to a cellphone I get a technical error. **** Standardbank. **** them. seriously, amateur time there. Im so angry right now.

Thats nice, How does you not having a problem get money to where I need to get it right now? Several times this week theyve been down.
I have every bank trying to give me cc`s (which I decline), thats not really indicative of anything except they want you to get into dept with them.

No, need money for staff, but Im with a **** bank that cant keep its banking systems up. Thank God I have a FNB bank account as well. Going to have to pull out of my savings until Standard POS Bank leaves amateur hour and makes a working system.

Yeah, FNB is awesome if you don't mind paying out your ass for certain things... an example
And don't think it was vastly different amounts being withdrawn. The FNB client confirmed never withdrawing more that R1500.

I flipped my lid when I realized I was paying R 2.00 per swipe on my STDbank card... R 2.00!!!! There was a credit card issue as well. I just had enough. I hardly carry or withdraw money anyway. With FNB I get 4 withdraws free of charge from an FNB ATM. More than I need. They also settled my lone account and gave me better interest than I was paying on the STDbank one.
To me it's more about the service than the rates. I was going to move anyway no matter the rates or charges.

I do not bank with Bleep Bank but my requests to http://www.standardbank.co.za/ timeout too.
You forget that FNB had similar issues in 2012. It happens to everyone not just Std.
