Star Citizen

Most likely once they have working ground security NPCs.
The way I think stuff like this would be good, either here or on that new Star Wars game is if the system generates the bounties, but the interactions were more organic, you know, like finding the dude at a dive bar, buying him a drink and then revealing that you're there to pick him up - and all the hijinx that ensues. That'd be great.

I mean, frankly, it would be great to turn Ai into a somewhat restricted "story generating" tool for something like that.

Not quite up to Epic giveaways, but each to their own..

A polish phase, indeed. Not going to quote the article, since it is a personal vent, but CIG employees are taking their issues to LinkedIn (the new Twitter it seems).

Just last month their game director walked... Now with this 'relocation' their lead producer and lead QA is gone, amongst others. It is a big impact on their development teams. I do think that CIG is restructering.

Things like this can potentially doom the game. Just wait until the game is changed to a subscription service, and current use licenses are converted to credits.

Having a look, it seems that the restructering is aimed at studios that CIG acquired. It could be that they have reached a phase where people are being phased due to a maintenance changeover process. I doubt it, many people in this business are currently shown the door. Tough times.

Booted up 3.23 the other night and was expecting it to be a trainwreck but was pleasantly surprised that it ran pretty smoothly but then I crashed my ship into a lake and died and didn't feel like starting over
