Star Wars Battlefont 2 Trailer

So you spent R1000 odd for the first one, and it wasn't that good (apparently) and then you have to spend another R1000 for another one that might not be much better?

Like most of the hype games these days - wait before you buy, and wait for a sale at that ... even at 50% off it is still a massive chunk of change :S
 
I enjoy the first one for about a day, then i just stopped. If it had single player with a story line it would have been better.

This time round it does have SP, even better it views the war from the proper side, not that rebel terrorist scum calling themselves Jedi's
 
Is there a hardcore mode in Battlefront?

I remember really looking forward it its release, played the Beta and got bored literally after an hour
 
Gotta be stupid to buy these hype titles at their ridiculous prices , wait for the sale, which will be after a month or 2.

Highly unlikely it will be that quick, maybe slight discounts or bundles during christmas but nothing substantial.

I mean GTA V is 4 years old and for the majority of the time it still sells for R800 through regular retail channels.

gta still has a big following and the online is very active generating $. They've sold over 80 mil copies and it just keeps on selling.

I tried GTA online, it was terrible. First have to set up custom firewall rules to get it work, then it still will bomb out after a few minutes and leave me alone in the server. That is of course not before getting wrecked by players with rocket launchers in armoured vehicles because I only have a handgun.

Way too much grind for me. The single player campaign is good, still need to finish that.

Dedicated servers doesn’t mean local. It’s most probably hosted on AWS again and whoever the publisher is needs to be begged to allow servers locally in SA, same what happened to BF1. And I do not see battlefront 2 coming close to BF1’s player base.

I’ll believe it when I see it. But let’s hope for the souls that buy the game on release there will be dedicated servers locally from the start.
