Yep, it's totally playable. The game is quite casual so it's not like people are competing on a level where the extra latency is going to affect things too drastically.

I play Battlefield on eu servers, 155-165 ping, very playable.

You can also play the Co-op mode and then ping doesn't matter that much (also I think it's the best game mode).
The Galactic Supremacy is also a ton of fun and feels like old school Battlefront.
Anyway this game is really good now, a pity they ruined the launch with all the shenanigans.
