Started downloading last night, hopefully done by this evening :)
Still waiting for a cd-key, should be bought within the next few hours from game in the UK.

Are most of you SA guys on a specific server?
 
A lot of us are on the Hidden Beks server on EU, it is a PVE server and most of us are playing republic. There are a couple of other servers with PVP guilds going too, but as far as I can see most of the PVE republic people are on Hidden Beks. If you decide on this server, get hold of me in game on Humility, alo Dace and Stefan can invite to our all SA guild.
 
Dammit! I rolled on Hidden Beks Empire Side as I'm tired of paying the good guy. Embrace the dark side. Any plans on creating a guild Empire side on Hidden Beks?
 
There is a SA empire guild called the Dark Dogs. I am not sure if you can search by guild name but I hear one of the characters of the leader is called Revenge
 
Yeah saw that on the SA player thread but when I tried adding the name "revenge" to friends list it said the name does not exist. Weird
 
G2play is out of stock.....of digital keys....strange.....

Any other recommended way to get the game that u guys used that worked? Wanna start downloading asap :D
 
Hey guys, this is a really stupid question and no i have not read through the previous posts. but 1 persons answer is enough of a reply please. thank you in advance.

i cannot buy the game online from their website. does amazon have a long wait time before ill be able to play the game ? or will i recieve my cd key NOW and be able to play ?, and on average what would the delivery time be.

edit: if i get a friend over in the UK to buy me a copy and give me the CD key i can download the digital copy of the game, correct ? thanks.

Hidden Beks looks very heavily populated:(

I made a new character today on Flames of teh Crucible server. It is lightly populated EU server, same one I used in beta and was very good back then. Will see if I can get a guy into Hidden Beks as well.

you can create up to 8 characters per server with a max of 40 characters per account spread over 5 servers.
 
@Brokenlink - doesn't matter about versions. There aren't seperate client for say EU and US ala WoW. You can just buy the standard edition or the CE, same thing in game but obviously very different budget wise.

@Nakedhousee Amazon ships an actual hard copy of the game. I ordered it on the 12th Dec, it shipped 15th and got to me on the 19th. So not too long overall, but you obviously have to wait to get the code. You can definitely download the client and get a friend to buy the game overseas and send you the code, don't see why that wouldn't work as the code applies to your onlien account, not game files on your hard drive.

@Gory51 Yeah Hidden Beks is heavy atm, just wish the rest of our SA brethren were dark side. Imo in a week or two this queue bs should be over and done with though. Only so long most people can take it.

Thanks for the response :) since you have a hard copy and the guy who is buying it has never played a pc game in his life, is the key on the manual back of inside of case ? where exactly would be a great help :) thanks in advance again!

If I order it on Amazon, do I get the early access code immediately via email, and can I use it to register an account? I have the client, I just need to create an account at this point. ><
 
right i managed to get the game files :) just need to figure out away to get a cd - key
