I'd really like to know if any SA people have recieved beta keys?

This is currently a US only closed beta test.
Blizzard clearly stated they were doing regional phases, primarily in the US, then probably [guess] Korea.

Blizzard stated, a short while before the release, that the FAQ that contains that information is outdated, the beta release would be global. You can browse around the Battle.NET website where you will find forums for a wide array of languages for regions that have recieved access.

I'm not too sure how likely it is that there will be a server capable acting as B.Net for SC2. As you may or may not know, SC2 uses Blizzards newly developed B.Net 2.0 which will be released alongside SC2 and used in its future titles. From what I can tell B.Net 2.0 functions rather differently from its traditional counterpart and the current PvPGN software (the software used to host servers for SC1, War3 and the like) is unable to emulate it.

There is word of a group working on PvPGN in order to add SC2 to its list of supported games, however it is unknown if the group is going to see any success and, if they do, just when in the future we may see this happen.

Thanks! Check out www.teamliquid.net for some pretty awesome Progaming news from SC1 as well as SC2 news.
