There would probably be legal issues though. Blizzard would shut down any modding project that attempts it. It's happened in other games where modders have tried doing that.

Has anyone got any idea of when this game is due out? I have just re-read this whole thread and not a mention, about a month ago I saw it advertised on the BT games web site for about mid september and now it doesn't even have a date any more.....the waiting is going to be the end of me!!!

Sc2 is only due for next year on www.megagames.com they had interview with one of the programmers or something he said they only half way done with the single player missions.But blizzard will be releasing a demo of sc2 before the end of this year.

they want everyone to have ample time to get hyped, and then maybe they will wait until were done playing red alert 3 and then they will build a new engine because they waited too long..... *yawn
