Starcraft II launch date revealed

i dont know why ppl think the release date is "late"
blizzard have never previously set a release date for sc2, not even a target quarter
this is the first official date announced by blizzard
 
That's still earlier than I thought. :D Can't wait.... :D
 
Is it true we won't be able to play on a lan, only through battle.net?

Starcraft is the only game I've ever really played a lot.
 
$59.99 for the game is a little steep. Probably cost like a 1000 bucks in SA.
 
Ridiculous (expected) price, especially for a game that has no LAN ........ no loss for me though, I hate it anyway :p

Our local prices are bit inflated. This is SC2 after all.

Assassins Creed 2 costs $59.99 in US, but here it costs R365. Though, if you look at MW2, thats also $59.99, but R455 locally.

So something is just not right there.
 
Dont forget that you will only get one campaign at whatever price we pay in SA, with the other two released as DLC.
