Starcraft II Region Issues

I have a question for you lads and lasses. I have friends in Germany, Spain, Venezuela and America - Will I be able to play with all of them ? We are holding off on buying at the moment, can someone here confirm or deny that cross region doesn;t/work ?

Don't see why it shouldn't work. We all register on Blizzard Europe and mostly play on the European servers. Also, the copies of Starcraft 2 we have here is the European version if I'm not mistaken.

Also, your friend in America will have to register on the EU server as well, not the US one.
