Hi, any1 know of a local Online Server... cant even host a game on Battle.net. Crap ADSL. Also, the latency is pathetic... even on unshaped

Thanx

NOD32 keeps pickup it up as virus... isnt there one without

Disable your firewall and then run the gataway editor.IT happend to me 2 at 1st anti-virus delete gateway editor:(

Thanx so much, are these the only Local servers? also, is sc.twilight.za.net & war3.co.za the same server?

Have a prob, gave a friend of mine this local server settings but its asking him to able UDPpackets 6112, he is on a Vodacom 3G HSDPA Data bundle... anyone know how to fix this on HSDPA?

People sometimes get it. After error message, at the 'Login' screen, don't log in and rather presss 'Cancel' so you go back to 'Multiplayer'. Then go into the server again, and the error message should have disappeared.

we tried that, logging in and out, still didnt work

Thats no help :( but thanx anyway... well, at least i can host games on Normal bnet now after forwarding that port.By the way, which server gets the best latency?

By the way, is there a way to do port forwarding on more than one IP address? i enabled it on my ip and i am able to play localy but other Pcs on the LAN cannot use that port... i tried making the Host IP the LAN Gateway but it still doesnt work

Regarding the port issues, I think the fault is with your 3G provider. You need to tell them to unshape (might not be the right terminology) port 6112 for you.

Not sure about the fastest Bnet server, probably Europe.

I'm sure you can forward ports to different LAN IP addresses. Although this may depend on the router you use.

i definately can forward different port to different ip addresses but if i forward 6112 to my ip, i cant forward that same port to another ip. IT only allows that particular port for one IP address. So that causes problems if i want other pcs on the LAN to acess the local SC server because they get error messages about 6112.

Portforwarding.com doesnt hep with the above issue, it only explains how to forward a port.
