Starcraft: The board game

Does any1 own this board game and have played it? What's the general feeling of this board game compared to other board games as well as starcraft the computer game. Thinking of buying this 1 because the current board game I own - Risk - is plagued with lucky rolls. A huge attack can be thwarted with a few bad rolls. I have read that there is no elements of luck in starcraft because dice are not used to determine the outcome of battles.

I've seen it for sale In cape town at the hobby shop in the waterfront and at willowbridge(pastimes)
Never played it though.
