I can't find the Battlechest anywhere. Any clues as to where i can find it?
Hong Kong![]()
oh yeah of course.
Anyways would be hard to find SC battlechest in SA I think. Guess not many would be enticed to buy such a game at the time when we didn't have broadband. Still very popular in the Asian countries though. Problem is they're quire expensive. They sell for about the price of a new game here which is about R250.
me2I'm glad they didn't go the 'hero' route like warcraft did. From Gamespot's coverage it sounds like it'll be perfect!
"Battlecruiser operational, take it slow"
Am I the only one that despairs for the travesty they are calling SCII??
Why oh why Blizzard? Why the hell are they making everything look so cartoony (ingame that is).
I loved SC and I will definately get and play SCII - but it bugs me no end that so many games go the cartoony route. In my mind SC needs to be darker, rougher, more realistic and gritty...
what can you do?
*blink*
uh, huh? Strokes and folks . . .
Blizzard games have always, since the very beginning, had a particular cartoony art style, if it was realistic it wouldn't be Blizzard, and frankly I love that about them. If I want to see a photo realistic tree I've got in my garden, If I want to play some escapist fantasy game I want an "unreal" experience thank you.
lol... that being stated, yes i absolutely agree - i think i did not explain myself quite correctly. The screenies look good. The videos - ah the videos are gorgeous... gameplay and story are at the top of the important list.
What i meant by the realism thing is not photo-realism... just, less neon, less bright. Something along the lines of... of... i dont know, something a bit more grimy and dented and scratched - something that fits in with the videos a bit more.
does that make a "kind of sense"?
