Koodoo are ster Kinkeor. So they bring in the games. They have been amazing in the past with delivery etc (almost a personalised experience). I would keep the order with them.

Haven't ordered yet. I stay in a remote town, so I'll anyways only get the box 2-3 days later :(

I read somehwere the actual game key is laser engraved on the box. So doubt they will send out a mail before hand with the key. Might have to find someone close to a btgames branch to collect on my behalf.

I see btgames appears sold out on the Xbox version of the constellation edition. So there is a chance the pc version will follow soon

Ordered with koodoo. Let's see what happens. Guess I'll just play early access with game pass should it not be delivered in time.
 
So koodoo or the person at least I’m chatting to fails to understand that the collectors edition of the game (plus some other editions) ships globally on the 1st of September and not the 6th (like the base game). Guessing we going to be having some angry customers come launch day

Provided them proof from multiple sources including bethesdas own site that the constellation edition ships out 1Sep 2023

Yep. Koodoo customer care agent I have been chatting to also had no cooking clue. This was her last reply and I left it at that.

"we do not know if SA will get the same as the US, If we get the laser engraved boxes it will then be the same. We will only know closer to the launch what we will get in SA. We do order the product the same as the rest of the world and it is not to say that is what we will get.
I do trust this answer your questions."

I'm not expecting my box to be in my hand on the 1st, so for me there won't be any disappointment. Buying this edition purely for the watch. Getting the game on top of it, bonus :)

Actually, with the constellation edition being sold out globally so rapidly, I am not even sure if all preorders will be fulfilled locally. Let's see.

Ok so they did get back from marketing and now confirmed (stock arriving in advance etc) that they will ship on the 1st

Edit: Mine as well showing as unfulfilled … I read this incorrectly thinking it’s a negative. That actually good news … wonder if they received stock. The site still shows as 6 Sep. Hope they don’t ship then.

Got this response on their chat

“Hi,

Unfulfilled means not yet dispatched by our warehouse.
There is no issues, it will be dispatched closer to the release date, should there be any changes will notify you.”

Strangely enough reviewers have copies in hand and their sentiment (without breaking nda) is very positive … one reviewer even noted in his hours of play that he has not encountered a single bug (that’s a first for Bethesda)

I think MS is a lot stricter with the quality of games released than Bathesda was pre-Microsoft. Also explains why they were told to delay the release by another year, maybe to polish the end product. But let's wait for the public release before we get our hopes up.

BG3 excellent game, but you know what, I'll just play both. I had BG3 from day 1 of early access so got it pretty cheap and with gamepass I can try out Starfield before buying it. Win Win
