STARLINK . . .not allowing POP3 traffic.

Hi

I have a STARLINK router, if i connect through it on Wifi/LAN cable, it doesnt allow POP3 connections to any mailservers.
If i connect to any other Wifi/ISP the email works fine without any issues.
I have multiple POP accounts at different ISP's and i use Vodacom/Telkom/Axxess/Afrihost . . the email works fine through those connections.

Does STARLINK allow POP3 traffic ?

POP 3 is antiquated and insecure. Does your SP or your server not allow a more secure protocol?

Hi , Yes the ISP confirmed they added the STARLINK public ip 154.224.xxx.xxx to their "Whitelist" and will service any connections from that IP Range, but it looks like STARLInk doesnt allow any of the mail protocols through, although the Hosted Exchange(Off365) emails work without an issue (USA-based).

We have all of the accounts on port 995 SSL and /465/587 TSL/SSL with authentication .
Mail domains are hosted by popular ZA ISP's.

Yes , we use 995 SSL and 465/587 TLS/SSL . . . you cant even ping the mailservers when using Starlink, but when you switch to a different WifiRouter with Vodacom/Telkom/Mtn/Afrihost/Axxess simcard . . it starts to reply and you can send emails and receive without issue.

The Client travels with his SUV with the Starlink Router powered by his vehicle, and the Starlink dish mounted on a roof-rack (very low profile) through Angola,Namibia,Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana and South Africa . . they upload a lot of data from various points enroute, but they have to switch to a Huawei Router with a Vodacom/Mtn roaming simcard if they want to send/receive emails from various mail accounts while roaming those routes.

Using POP3 & not had a problem with it working. Don't use a vpn.

My link connects directly to my Fortigate firewall. I get a CGNAT (100.64.0.0/10) IP on my FW interface
