This is long time due though. It is fair that Moyane is allowed to cross-examine Gordhan. PG cited cabinet commitments last time but I suspect he was buying time to better prepare himself.

I doubt if PG will have a comfortable ride today.

Zondo should have shutdown the line of questioning that sought to bring in unrelated **** and try to bait Pravin into bringing in the likes of Zuma. And shouldn't have allowed the ridiculous racism angle. It was a typical RET MO where they question the very existence of state capture. To be fair to them though, Pravin also shouldn't have accused people of serving state capture without evidence.

Agree 100% - I think PG literally asked for it in this case.

There is enough evidence as far as Moyane's actions at SARS is concerned. Destroying the LBC and high risk investigation unit, ending IT contracts, removing employees, drive the race narrative inside SARS, the list goes on.

Zondo rightfully excluded all of the hard evidence from the cross examination, and only allowed the racism angle, which was totally pointless.

That's slightly irrelevant, the question was not if there is evidence somewhere out there but if Pravin has the evidence to back up his claims, and he was seemingly caught wanting, poor form from him because it shows he is letting his beef with Moyane cloud his judgment.

When you're dealing with guys like Mpofu and Moyane, the rules of racism are very fluid. Those sort can even take offence if someone looks at them wrong or smiles at them wrong.

Not really, yesterday was not about evidence. It was all a show by a bunch of clowns destroying the country. SARS was destroyed by Moyane, no question about that.
