Problem with the Gupta family is that have such large extended family. It's a family dynasty. They will just use their children or spouses of their children as directors of companies.

Holy fark. This dude is so unconvincing it is bizarre. What is truly sad, is that he had obviously so much money coming in from corruption, that he couldn't be bothered to shift millions into an interest bearing account.

Good news, but bad news. It means they have no assets in the UK that could be frozen, and ultimately be repaid.

So what are your thoughts on Zuma allowing all this rape of funds through state capture, but yet not seemingly having enough to pay for his own legal fees?

Absolutely. But under Zuma's patronage, it obviously became far more lucrative to jump on the bandwagon and steal from the state. Or do you disagree?

Apparently, Jacob was to stupid to steal monies.

Then again, it could be possible that the story he got millions from Putin for Russia to build nuclear power stations in SA (for a trillion or so) could be correct. And then dear Zuma, in fear for his life, had to refund a lot of money.

This is silly of UK but I suppose they at least have done something. Guptas are not going to use official channels to transfer money. Havala would be the most likely mode.

It's not really about the money... I'd just pay good money to see the cctv footage of British immigration officers putting him back on the plane and denying him access to the UK.

Why is it silly? It will just add to evidence of trying to reclaim monies from the Gupta leaches internationally.

We'll never see a cent from Jacob... He's pissed it all away buying influence and baubles...

So for me we have to imagine the possible little victories until our courts get their heads out of their asses and put him behind bars.
